As a small business, I decided the packaging must have a handmade feel and be very aesthetic. This is to make the buyers feel like a lot of time and effort was put into their personal products/packages. The packaging was ensured to be carefully crafted and beautiful to encourage the customers to post and share on their Instagrams (which many people did).
Customers had the option of choosing the design, colour, and whether to have it customised with their name for an extra charge. Having this customisable option is really what created a lot more interest as I found the targeted market loved the idea of having a personalised product.
