I was given a lot of creative freedom in this project to elevate the brand to refresh and appeal to a younger demographic.
After doing a lot of research, I found that modern sports illustrations/graphics for other teams around the world were moving away from using busy textures/backgrounds. This pushed me into introducing more layered designs that are simple, yet eye-catching and effective. With this in mind, I introduced more block colours, gradients, shapes and shades to the collateral. This was to be able to match some of these top sporting teams while retaining the same level of professionalism.
